For the well-being of residents, La Costa Glen strives to follow CDC guidance and comply with recommendations from state and local health officials. Offerings depicted are subject to change.

Fall is in full swing and, though it’s hard to believe now, cooler weather will soon be upon us. At La Costa Glen, residents are making the transition in good spirits, living in a socially-oriented environment, surrounded by a team of employees who are dedicated to keeping the entire community healthy and safe.

While adhering to CDC and local government guidelines, we’ve flexed our ingenuity and made adjustments to everyone’s favorite activities and amenities. Here are some examples of how our residents continue to live the La Costa Glen life during these ever-changing times:

Expanded dining: Our Food and Beverage team has designed new outdoor spaces for alfresco and pop-up venues. These worry-free environments allow our residents to enjoy the many pleasures of restaurant-style dining while overlooking our beautiful lakes. Those who prefer to eat at home can have delicious, chef-inspired meals delivered right to their door.

Indoors has moved outdoors: Taking advantage of Southern California’s year-round climate, we’ve moved many services and events into the open air. Family socials, art classes, musical and other cultural events help our residents carry on with a sense of normalcy in spite of the pandemic. We recently re-opened our gym with strictly limited capacity and reservations required. Our hair salon, which had been operating outdoors, has moved back inside, but again capacity is limited and appointments are required.

Abundant opportunities to stay active: Our 55-acre campus affords residents the opportunity to enjoy socially distanced walks, chipping and putting on “The Links,” outdoor cardio and fitness classes, and even refreshing dips in the outdoor pool. For those who prefer the safety of the indoors, we offer fitness classes on our in-house channel, along with concerts, lectures, Zoom clubs, and other programming.

We will keep you informed of changes to our health and safety precautions as they occur. We know how difficult Covid-19 restrictions are on everyone, but we greatly appreciate your understanding and continuing cooperation. Our goal is to protect every precious individual in the La Costa Glen Community and to bring our families together again as soon as it is safe to do so.

As a final reminder, don’t give up! Keep practicing what we have all been asked to do:

  • Social Distance – Remain a minimum of 6 feet away from others
  • Wear Masks– When properly worn, face coverings are highly effective
  • Cover Your Coughs and Sneezes—Dispose of tissues immediately
  • Wash Your Hands—Use soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds
  • Avoid Touching Your Face
